Once we have taken your details, we will send you an application pack containing:

• Supply Pool Registration Form
• Confidential Medical Questionnaire
• CRB Application Form

You will be asked to complete these forms to help us assess your application to join the Pool. This is because all supply teachers working in The Supply Pool are vetted to a high standard agreed by participating LEAs. For your application to be considered, you should satisfy all of the following criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status, or unqualified with specific skills in one of the recognised shortage areas
• An appropriate Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau
• A satisfactory Occupational Health Check
• Able to provide 2 satisfactory references (one of which should be the last school where you have taught for at least one term)
• Registration with the General Teaching Council for England (GTC(e)) - this is only necessary for qualified teachers

If your application does not strictly meet the criteria, you many be able to join The Supply Pool if you are qualified to teach in subjects that are regarded as shortage areas.
